Started by me, (Donna) circa 13 years ago, Bamboo Boutique is the third beauty business that I have opened. I have been in the industry for, crikey, 22 years!! I was very much a keen wee beaver and opened my first business just after I was 21. Back in the stone age of my training, I gained so much experience working in various spas and salons and after being in management, I knew that I wanted to break free and offer my clients a holistic experience. One where you feel listened to, comfortable, and trust in your therapist that they have your best interests at heart with honesty and respect. I always joke with my clients that we are like a community care centre in that anyone is welcome and everyone is treated like family.

Bamboo Boutique has evolved over these long 13 years to focus more on skin and laser treatments. I am skin-obsessed, following the latest trends and treatments but at the same time, being selective about what I decide to take on. I carefully source products and machines from the best in the industry. I am not a fan of gimics and I want award winning, results-driven treatments and products that I know my clients will love. Currently, my laser hair removal is very popular. It treats every skin type and both females and males can have any area treated with cool tip technology, ensuring that it is the most comfortable laser experience available in Edinburgh.

My skin and laser clinic is also home to hairdressing duo Becky and Keith. Both well known in the Stockbridge area for years. You will see them coiffuring many a head as you walk past. I hold a HND qualification in beauty therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy and massage therapy and I have a VTCT Level 4 laser and IPL for hair removal and skin issues. I offer the following high-quality treatments for a wide range of skin concerns including, Medical microdermabrasion, RF microneedling, Epionce peels and medical grade skincare, so no matter what your skin concerns are, relax, knowing that your in safe hands.
